This Product Testing Disclaimer explains how product testing videos, images, demonstrations, reports, and related descriptions should be understood when viewing or purchasing products from GT.Eagle.
Testing content is provided for product demonstration and informational purposes only. It should not be interpreted as a guarantee of performance in every real-world situation.
1. Testing Videos Are for Demonstration Only
Product testing videos, shooting demonstrations, material tests, and impact demonstrations are intended to help customers better understand product structure, test conditions, and general performance under specific controlled circumstances.
The results shown in a video may not represent all possible conditions, threats, environments, ammunition types, distances, angles, or product-use scenarios.
2. Test Conditions May Affect Results
Body armor and ballistic protection performance may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to:
- Ammunition type, caliber, projectile construction, and velocity
- Test distance and impact angle
- Number of impacts and impact spacing
- Product size, thickness, material, and construction
- Product condition, age, storage method, and prior damage
- Environmental conditions such as temperature, moisture, heat, and surface support
- Whether the product is used alone or with compatible carriers, soft armor, or backers
3. No Absolute Protection Guarantee
No body armor, ballistic plate, soft armor panel, helmet, carrier, backpack insert, or protective product can guarantee complete protection from injury, death, penetration, blunt trauma, ricochet, fragmentation, or other harm in all situations.
Customers should carefully review product specifications, stated protection level, materials, dimensions, weight, compatibility, and testing information before purchasing.
4. Testing Information on Product Pages
When a product page includes testing information, customers should review the details carefully. Testing information may include protection level, test method, material description, product type, or demonstration conditions where available.
If specific test reports, laboratory results, or documentation are available for a product, they may be shown on the product page or provided upon request when applicable.
5. Video Results May Not Equal Certification
A product demonstration, shooting video, or impact test does not automatically mean that the product is officially certified by any government agency, law enforcement agency, military organization, or certification body.
Unless a product page clearly states that a product is officially certified by a specific recognized certification body, customers should not interpret testing videos as official certification claims.
6. Customer Responsibility
Customers are responsible for selecting products that are appropriate for their intended lawful use and for understanding the limitations of protective equipment.
Customers should not rely solely on videos or promotional materials when making a purchase decision. Product specifications, legal restrictions, and stated test information should also be reviewed.
7. Product Testing by Customers
If a customer chooses to test a product after purchase, the test should be conducted safely, lawfully, and responsibly. Testing may permanently damage the product and may make it ineligible for return, refund, or warranty coverage.
Any claim based on product testing may require complete, clear, and unedited evidence, including product condition before testing, test setup, ammunition or impact source if applicable, distance, angle, and post-test condition.
8. Updates to Testing Information
We may update product testing information, product pages, videos, or disclaimers from time to time. Testing information may vary by product model, batch, material, supplier, or updated product design.
