Frequently Asked Questions and Answers

We have compiled a list of frequently asked questions from our customers, along with their answers; you may find the solution you are looking for here.

test Q: What happens if the product is penetrated during testing?

If the product is penetrated under proper testing conditions that follow the NIJ 0101.06 standard, we offer a full refund after verification.

To help us review the case fairly and accurately, please record the complete testing process before the test starts. The video should clearly show the product condition, the ammunition used, the testing distance, the shooting process, and the backface result after impact.

Please provide the original, unedited video footage for review. Testing should be conducted safely, legally, and in a controlled environment, such as a qualified range or testing facility. If the product has been modified, damaged before testing, or tested under conditions outside the stated standard, the refund policy may not apply.

transport Q: Do you support returns and refunds without a specific reason?

Yes. We offer a 7-day return policy after the customer receives the product. You may request a return and refund within 7 days, as long as the product is clean, unused, undamaged, and kept in its original condition.

Once the returned item arrives at our warehouse, our team will inspect it. If everything is confirmed to be in good condition, we will issue a full refund as soon as possible.

transport Q: What should I do if the product arrives damaged?

If your product arrives damaged, please contact our customer support team as soon as possible and provide your order number, clear photos, and, if available, an unboxing video.

To help us resolve shipping damage or order disputes more quickly, we recommend recording a video when opening the package. This helps confirm whether the product arrived in good condition, whether there was any damage during shipping, and whether the item matches the specifications you ordered.

If the damage is confirmed to be caused during shipping or by a product issue, we will take responsibility and provide a proper solution, such as covering the return shipping cost or sending a replacement item.

transport Q: How long does it usually take to receive my armor?

It depends on the product and shipping location.

If the product page shows a “Ships from USA” label, the item will usually ship from our California warehouse, and delivery typically takes about 3–5 business days within the U.S.

If the product does not have the “Ships from USA” label, it will usually ship from China, and the estimated delivery time is about 7–15 business days, depending on your location, customs clearance, and carrier service.

Material Q: What is the difference between silicon carbide ceramic and alumina ceramic in ballistic plates?

Both silicon carbide ceramic and alumina ceramic are commonly used in ballistic armor plates, but they have different advantages.

For the same protection level, silicon carbide ceramic plates are usually lighter and harder than alumina ceramic plates. They generally offer better ballistic performance-to-weight ratio and may result in less backface deformation under similar impact conditions. However, silicon carbide is usually more expensive.

Alumina ceramic plates are usually more affordable and offer better value for customers who want reliable protection at a lower cost. They are a good choice if you care more about price and cost-effectiveness.

In simple terms, if you want lighter weight and higher performance, we usually recommend silicon carbide. If you want a more budget-friendly option, alumina ceramic is a great choice.

Material Q: Do ballistic products really expire? When should I replace them?

Yes, ballistic products do have a recommended service life. Under normal conditions, if the product is not damaged, heavily worn, exposed to extreme environments, or improperly stored, the typical service life is around 5 years.

However, the actual lifespan depends on the material, storage conditions, and usage. If the outer coating of a helmet or armor plate is cracked, peeled, or damaged, its protective performance may be affected, and the service life may be significantly reduced.

If the product has been shot, strongly impacted, or visibly damaged, we recommend replacing it immediately. For your safety, we do not recommend continuing to use any ballistic product after it has taken a ballistic hit.

Material Q: What is the difference between Kevlar helmets and UHMWPE helmets?

Both Kevlar and UHMWPE helmets can provide reliable ballistic protection when they are made to the same protection level, but they have different advantages.

For our product line, Kevlar helmets are usually lighter than UHMWPE helmets. Kevlar helmets also offer better heat resistance and better performance against backface deformation. This means that under a similar impact, a Kevlar helmet may show less inward denting compared with a UHMWPE helmet.

However, Kevlar is more sensitive to moisture. If the outer protective coating, such as the polyurea layer, is damaged, the helmet’s expected service life may be reduced.

UHMWPE helmets are usually more cost-effective. They are more affordable and stable for general use, making them a good option for customers who want reliable protection at a better price.

In simple terms, if you care more about lighter weight, heat resistance, and lower backface deformation, our Kevlar helmet is usually the better choice. If you care more about price and value, UHMWPE is a great option.

product Q: Will these armor plates fit my plate carrier?

Most of our armor plates are standard 10 x 12 inch size, which fits most common plate carriers on the market.

However, we still recommend checking the plate pocket size of your carrier before ordering. You can also contact the seller or manufacturer of your plate carrier to confirm what size plates it is designed to hold.

defense Q: Which protection level should I choose?

It depends on the type of threat you want protection from.

If you are mainly concerned about handgun threats, Level IIIA is usually a good choice. It is lighter and more comfortable for daily wear or concealed use.

If you need protection against certain rifle rounds, we generally recommend Level III. It offers a higher level of protection than Level IIIA and is suitable for customers who want stronger ballistic coverage.

If you need the highest level of protection we offer, we recommend Level IV, which is designed for more serious rifle threats, including certain armor-piercing rounds.

customize Q: Can I customize the size, protection level, or appearance of the product?

Yes, customization is available. We can adjust the size, protection level, shape, color, logo, or exterior design based on your needs. Please send us your requirements, and our team will check the production feasibility and provide a custom solution.

cooperate Q: Can I promote your products? Can I get samples and sales commission?

Yes, of course. We’re looking for professional video creators and livestreamers to work with. Our team will first review your social media account, audience, and engagement data. If it’s a good fit, we can provide free samples and offer an exclusive 15%–20% sales commission for your promotions.

company Can I visit your production facility in China?

Yes, absolutely. We’d be happy to arrange a factory visit for you. For privacy and security reasons, we don’t publish the full factory address publicly here. If you’re planning a visit, please contact us in advance, and our team will help coordinate the details with you.

company Q: Are you a U.S. manufacturer?

No, we are not a U.S. manufacturer. Our production facility is located in Anhui, China. However, we do have two warehouses in California, and some in-stock items ship directly from the U.S. For eligible U.S. warehouse orders, delivery usually takes about 3–5 business days, depending on the destination and inventory availability.
