This Product Use Disclaimer explains important limitations and responsibilities related to the use of body armor, ballistic plates, soft armor panels, plate carriers, ballistic backpacks, and related tactical protective products purchased from GT.Eagle.
By purchasing or using any product from our store, you acknowledge that protective equipment has limitations and that you are responsible for lawful, safe, and appropriate use.
1. Lawful Use Only
Products sold by GT.Eagle are intended only for lawful purposes. Customers may not purchase, possess, transfer, export, or use any product for criminal activity, unlawful violence, unauthorized resale, illegal export, or any prohibited purpose.
Customers are responsible for understanding and following all applicable federal, state, local, and international laws.
2. No Product Guarantees Complete Protection
No body armor, ballistic plate, soft armor panel, helmet, carrier, backpack insert, or protective product can guarantee complete protection from injury, death, penetration, blunt trauma, ricochet, fragmentation, or other harm in every possible situation.
Protective products are designed to reduce certain risks under stated conditions, but they cannot eliminate all risks.
3. Factors That May Affect Performance
Product performance may be affected by many factors, including but not limited to:
- Projectile type, caliber, construction, and velocity
- Impact angle and distance
- Number of impacts and impact spacing
- Product condition, age, and prior damage
- Improper storage, moisture exposure, heat exposure, or chemical exposure
- Incorrect sizing, improper fit, or improper installation
- Use with incompatible carriers, panels, inserts, or accessories
- Modification, cutting, bending, disassembly, or unauthorized repair
4. Proper Fit and Compatibility
Customers are responsible for selecting products that fit properly and are compatible with their intended setup. Incorrect sizing, poor fit, or incompatible use may reduce product performance and comfort.

5. Storage and Care
Protective products should be stored and cared for according to product instructions where available. Improper storage or exposure to harsh conditions may reduce product lifespan or performance.

Customers should inspect products before use. Do not use a product if it appears damaged, cracked, deformed, cut, delaminated, heavily worn, or otherwise compromised.
If a product arrives damaged or appears defective, contact us before using, modifying, testing, or returning it.
7. Testing by Customer
Testing a product may permanently damage it and may make it ineligible for return, refund, or warranty coverage. This includes shooting, impact testing, cutting, bending, submerging, heating, or otherwise intentionally stressing the product.
Any testing should be conducted only in a lawful, controlled, and safe environment by qualified persons following applicable safety rules.
